It Begins

Here I sit at the precipice;
A new year, a new lease on time;
Here I sit at the precipice;
Contemplating, reflecting and ultimately
Committing.
Here I sit at the precipice;
Determined and sure
Despite the fact that I am
Not in control;
It’s ok.
Here I sit at the precipice;
Fueled by purpose and
Resonant with that which
Whispers in the stillness of
Mind.
And, just like that it begins;
Another leg to add to life’s journey;
Another adventure to weave into life’s tapestry;
I’ve been asked to dance and this time
I did not say no.
